IOGA of New York is a trade association, founded in 1980, to protect, foster, and advance the common interests of oil and gas producers, professionals, and related industries in the State of New York.
Comprised of members from numerous states throughout the country, we represent most of the larger oil and gas operators and producers in New York State, as well as many smaller independent companies.
Our association aggressively interacts with local, state and federal agencies and representatives regarding regulations and issues affecting the oil and natural gas industry in New York State.
IOGA of NY takes great pride in its commitment to members by organizing informative workshops, seminars, and technical meetings in an effort to provide educational opportunities and promote technology transer within the industry.
MEMBERSHIP IN IOGA OF NY
Thank you for your interest in joining The Independent Oil and Gas Association of New York in membership. Membership entitles you to quarterly newsletters (The Pipeline), the membership directory, full access to membership information on our website (Members Only), a complimentary subscription to The American Oil and Gas Reporter magazine, and discounts for IOGANY meetings and advertising. More importantly, as a member you will receive periodic correspondence regarding important issues that affect the oil and gas industry. Your support allows us to maintain a voice in Albany which includes meetings with legislators and correspondence with regulators. Through the efforts of IOGANY, the interests of oil and gas companies and their service affilitates are protected.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Purposes of the Independent Oil & Gas Association are:
(a) To protect, promote, foster and advance the common interest of oil & gas producers and related industries, include, without limitation, contractors, service personnel and underground storage operators in the State of New York;
(b) To protect such oil and gas producers against unfair and unjust burdens and exactions;
(c) To collect and disseminate pertinent data regarding the oil & gas producing industry;
(d) To promote better operating practices and improved producing methods;
(e) To conserve oil & gas and prevent the waste thereof;
(f) Generally to do such things as may be necessary to accomplish the foregoing;
(g) To do any other act or thing incidental to or in connection with the foregoing purposes or in advancement thereof, but not for the pecuniary profit or financial gain of it's members, directors or officers, except permitted under the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law. |
